We are looking for articles, fiction, thoughts, and even "articulated, but unanswered questions" regarding Torah. The goal is to provide insight for all people in such a way as to present the living light of Israel and Torah that can unify, rather than separate peoples of faith.
We are especially eager to read submissions by writers who can make Torah come alive and make it applicable for the reader.
All content should be "Torah positive." Encouraging Torah learning and being shommer mitzvoth is also desireable.
Content should be styled towards Jewish pluralism (as non-sectarian as possible). Though not everyone believes in the Oral Torah as others do, submissions about the Talmud are also encouraged as long as it is illuminating and not intended to "proselytize" others.
Sectarian articles must be respectful of other sectarian viewpoints - no flaming or antagonism towards different streams or faiths. Torah Echad does not advoate any faith outside of Judaism; Torah themes on love, law, and liberty are highly encouraged.
Fiction, poetry, and parable should be no longer than 7,000 words.
All submissions grant First Serial rights to Torah Echad when chosen for publication on the website. You may be asked later for other rights for other publications, but at this time your submission will appear only on the Torah Echad website.
